The Challenge

Transforming a plain, outdated, unresponsive and unmeasurable website

The Outcome

Designed and developed a brand new website from scratch that reflects the B&B's modern Scandinavian design.

Background

Kongebrohuset is a bed and breakfast place located in Sorø, Denmark. They started the B&B business in 2013 and has been growing ever since. The owner, Thomas, reached out to me to help him redesign a new website for Kongebrohuset that is simple, responsive and optimised for search engine.

Research

Understanding Visitors

Sorø is a small city that is 50 minutes away from Copenhagen. The city is well-known for three things: the private boarding school, the old church, and the historic restaurant. People who stay at Kongebrohuset are usually the local Danish people who came to visit these places and usually last for an average of about 1 or 2 nights.
